Quilt Blocks in Ailsa Craig Lions Club Park
(the park is located at the extreme west end of Ailsa Craig, off of Old Mill St.)
All blocks, except one, represent the logo of a country featured at the Ailsa Craig Quilt and Fibre Arts Festival in past years. *The logo for each was based on one of the quilts, shown at that country`s exhibition. The remaining block, with the Scottish Thistle is the logo for the Ailsa Craig Quilt and Fibre Arts Festival and was designed by Jane Walker, a quilter, a member of the North Middlesex Barn Quilt and Heritage Trail Committee, as well as a member of the Ailsa Craig Quilt and Fibre Arts Festival planning committee.
