The story

The Seaforth Agricultural Society is a community organization that is run by volunteers dedicated to encouraging awareness and appreciation of agriculture awareness through events such as the Seaforth Fall Fair and by supporting Huron County 4-H. This “Celebrate” Barn Quilt is dedicated to our volunteers, past and present and to our many talented fair exhibitors. As part of our mandate of promoting agriculture awareness in our community our fair board purchased the large commemorative mural that was displayed during IPM “Huron Shines in ‘99” which featured all the previous matches hosted in our county. We had this historical piece of art mounted in downtown Seaforth for future generations to enjoy. So now in 2017 our proudly displayed “Celebrate” Barn Quilt will be viewed in years to come on the Huron County Barn Quilt Trail not only as a tribute to our volunteers and exhibitors but as a remembrance of this IPM when “Huron Hosts on Ontario’s West Coast”.
