The story
The ancient oaks in Art Cadman Lion’s Park were once part of an oak savannah plain that stretched east to Brantford and south to Norfolk. Many local stories can be traced to Whiteman’s Creek and the settlement of this area. The park was dedicated during the Burford Fall Fair in 1967. New trails and picnic areas provide a pleasant rest stop.
