The story

This lovely century farm has had many changes since the first small 2-room house was built over 100 years ago. Over the years, two welcome additions were added to the house and two barns, each with ‘hay cars’ to efficiently haul hay/straw to the lofts were built a few years apart. The current owners bought this property in 1997 to have additional room for their horses.  On July 19, 2020, a tornado destroyed a shed and damaged the roofs of the barn and the house, all necessitating repairs.

This eye-catching barn quilt design was one that the couple liked and had it painted in bright colours. Good choice!
