The story
This striking barn quilt was inspired by the couple`s ‘wedding quilt’, featuring an Ohio Star pattern. The quilt, which still adorns their bed was pieced together by Karen`s mother and her close friends and hand quilted by Karen`s grandmother.
The couple live on the farm where Doug grew up. The barns are painted red, hence the coordinating choice of colours for the barn quilt design.
