Peace Pipe
The story

Peace Pipe – Peace and Friendship Treaties were entered into by the sharing of pipes between nations before the coming of the Europeans and recorded by Wampum Belts. This tradition continued when treaties were entered into with the British in the southern Ontario region in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s.
