This quilt design, the “Loon” was chosen for two reasons: the first being Carol`s lifelong attraction to loons. Secondly, the addition of the trees into the quilt design was to remind this couple of the years they had a house on a lake in Muskoka where the loons were evident all summer. This unique barn quilt is a way to bring lasting memories of the north country with them to southern Ontario!
